I HIGHLY recommend Gemma Riley-Laurin of The Laurin Team. She was absolutely amazing. We looked around quite a bit and she got us, by far, the lowest rate. She's very friendly, prompt with her responses (by email & phone) to our millions of questions and we felt very comfortable with her.

Where do I start? Gemma has done what every professional in any field of work should do for their clients - break down industry jargon into layman's terms, so that the understanding is clear. Gemma not only shopped around for the best all-round rate with her extensive list of mortgage providers, but also explained everything in meticulous detail, formulating numerous computations to depict pros and cons between variable and fixed mortgage rates, as well as insured and non-insured mortgages, specific to myself. The best option was not as obvious one would think. In the end, I received a headache-free experience of aquiring a mortgage, despite being a self-employed small business owner. I actually look forward to doing it all over again with Gemma. Thank goodness for the "brokers" of the world who are making life easier for everyone! ;-) D.
